What is not included in Version 1
To keep Tennly dependable, affordable, and focused, we deliberately exclude several features that add hidden fees or regulatory overhead.
No online rent collection
Tennly does not act as an escrow agent or payment processor. We do not charge credit card processing percentages, hold tenant funds in escrow, or delay deposits. You continue collecting rent directly via cash, check, ACH bank transfer, or Zelle, and record transactions in Tennly.
No automated credit bureau pulls
Tennly does not connect directly to credit bureaus for automated credit scoring. You obtain applicant credit reports through your chosen screening service or applicant-provided copies, and enter summary numbers into Tennly's uniform screening tool.
No tenant logins
Applicants apply through public listing links without creating accounts or setting passwords. Current tenants receive formatted PDF receipts and letters directly from you. Tenants never have to register, remember logins, or install software.
No electronic lease execution
Tennly handles the data handoff from approved application to tenancy ledger, but does not provide digital lease signature workflows. Leases must be executed using your standard lease forms.
